Duende Film Srl is a film production, post-production, and distribution company.
It is wholly owned by Nove Gennaio Srl, a sole-shareholder holding company headed by Stefano Bacchiocchi, who oversees and manages various enterprises, primarily operating in the fields of business consulting and creative services.
The history of Duende began in 2019, when, together with other partners and through the acquisition of the client portfolio of Restart Production, Stefano Bacchiocchi funded Restart Media Company Srl. From the outset, the company focused on transforming ideas, stories, business models, and emotions into videos, images, and viral content, achieving significant visibility, particularly online.
In 2022, following the departure of the previous shareholders, Beatrice Campagna joined Restart, initially as majority shareholder and managing director, and later—having stepped down from both the ownership structure and corporate governance—taking the reins as Creative Director.
Beatrice’s specialized expertise allowed the company to use a cinematic approach and add a narrative spin to all audiovisual content produced by the company—regardless of its intended platform (artistic, digital, or corporate). From the very beginning, short film productions were branded as “Duende Film”, in order to clearly differentiate them from other content developed for different purposes and target audiences.
Subsequently, the Nove Gennaio group expanded its investments in the entertainment sector by acquiring Legends Company Srl, a firm specialized in the production of audiovisual content for businesses, including media distribution via television, radio, digital, and social platforms—also through its proprietary radio station, “Radio Legends.”
With a clear separation of activities between the two entities, in 2024, Restart Media Company officially changed its corporate name to DUENDE FILM Srl, focusing exclusively on the development of high-quality audiovisual works distinguished by a unique and recognizable cinematic style. The company now specializes in the end-to-end production of short films, documentaries, feature films, and music videos, from concept development and scriptwriting through to post-production.
In 2025, the team was further strengthened by the addition of Alessandro Di Renzo as Head of Production, a seasoned professional with over ten years of experience in the industry.
The 2025–2026 production plan includes the creation of five new short films, two docufilms, and one feature film.
